Research is the process of gathering information to gain new insights, including how you are performing, how you compare to others, and what your customers and staff think about the products and services you provide. Data from research can give you critical insights and allows you to make informed, SMART decisions concerning your organisation’s goals and future actions.
There are two main types of market research – quantitative and qualitative – and at Osiris MR we are proficient in both.
Quantitative research is used to gather statistical data, and typically involves asking structured, multiple choice questions. Quantitative research often takes the form of questionnaires, whether paper, digital, telephone-based, or a combination thereof (known as ‘multi-platform market research’)
Quantitative research gives vital data you can use to measure your organisation’s performance and compare it to previous years or competitor companies.
Our dedicated team will provide you with a detailed, comprehensive report that will give you all the information you need and show you where to go from there to provide an even better service to your customers.
Qualitative research is more abstract, and more concerned with your customers’ opinions and why they hold them. Qualitative research can be undertaken in a variety of ways, including face-to-face interviews, focus groups, and as part of quantitative studies. Qualitative questions are open-ended, benefitting you with a rich, detailed insight into who your customers are and how you can best serve them.
Our highly trained interviewers will ask open ended questions and let your customers provide honest feedback in their own time and their own words. We will then take this and extract themes and recurring comments, so you know exactly how your customers feel and how many others feel the same way.
